Onitsuka Tiger Shows Off the New, Oversized Big Logo Trainer

Onitsuka Tiger has spent much of their lifespan known for its sleek running and training shoes, as well as some of the most technically advanced running technologies around the world. Now, the Japanese brand is introducing something new. Check out the Big Logo Trainer.

Onitsuka might be best known for their legendary Mexico 66 silhouette, an extremely sleek sneaker originally debuted in 1966 for the Summer Olympics, and has continued to sell out regularly ever since. Now, the Japanese brand is going for something new, and hopping on the oversized wagon that began its journey last year. Take a look at the Big Logo Trainer, one of the first silhouettes with a painfully accurate name. The shoe begins with a white leather base layers, before adding a mustard yellow suede toecap and grey suede heel counter. The tongue comes in a subtle maroon tone, while flashes of blue on the midsole add another dimension to the look. Finally, exactly as its name implies, both sides of the shoe are plastered with thick, oversized versions of the Onitsuka Tiger logo, orange for the lateral sides and black for the medial.
