PUMA’s low-top Clyde sneaker, made popular by Clyde Frazier in the 1970s, is back in its original format this Summer, refreshed with a handful of new bright color schemes for the occasion. This week we have an early look at a pair in “Spectra Green”, arriving later this Summer in July.

PUMA’s Clyde sneaker originally launched back in 1973, and took over the world of basketball shoes thanks to its (at the time) progressive technology and simple styling. The model was popularized and named after Clyde Frazier, the Hall-of-Fame player and Knicks legend. Since its debut, the Clyde has continued in two versions, the original form which has become a lifestyle model, as well as remaining a part of the basketball arsenal, refreshed with the latest performance tech PUMA has to offer. The lifestyle version still gets regular new releases, applying fresh colors for all seasons to the simple look. This week, we have an early look at a new pair in “Spectra Green”, which covers the suede upper in the bright shade, pairing it with a Frosted Ivory shade of off-white for the branding and midsoles, while silver foil accents complete the look.
