adidas and UK retailer Size? have a special relationship. On an almost monthly basis, the shop releases an extremely exclusive pair of kicks. This time around, the ZX500 RM goes under the knife with a new colorway inspired by adidas classics.
United Kingdom retailer size? and German sportswear giant adidas are no strangers to collaboration. Both brands work regularly with outside parties to create something new and exciting outside of their typical design. This month, the two have teamed up for yet another Three Stripes footwear collab, using the recently renovated ZX500 Restomod as a canvas.
Originally crafted in 1984 as one of the brand’s better performing running shoes, the adidas ZX500 has found a new footing in 2018 with its reworked Boost tooling. This week, adidas and size? dropped their exclusive new take on the silhouette, painting the shoe in a classic color scheme. To begin, the thin mesh base layer comes in white to provide a clean canvas. Next, the suede overlays are dyed a deep navy blue, while red detailing on the stripes, heel, and tongue branding round out the look.
