With the reveal of the Star Wars x adidas Mandolorian collection just surfacing today, many fans were immediately drawn to the Baby Yoda designs which include the NMD R1.
Season 2 of the Mandalorian will be premiering later this week on October 30th, and with the ongoing partnership of Star Wars and adidas, it’s only a brainer the Disney+ series would be getting a collection of sneakers. While Mando will get his fair share of sneakers, The Child, or more famously known as Baby Yoda easily has stolen the show. Featured on a variety of different adidas models, this NMD R1 stands out among the rest and will likely be one of the go to’s for many.
Officially dressed in Cream White, Pale Nude, and Clear Mint, the upper arrives in a creamy off-white which is complemented with light brown on the heels and mint detailing on the Three Stripes midfoot branding. Much like the upper, the Boost midsole arrives in a cream white where speckled EVA inserts are placed in for contrast. A mint rubber outsole is placed underneath for a complementary look whereas double branding is expected to be placed throughout to solidify the collaboration.
