Months separate us from the release of the Air Jordan 11 “Legend Blue”, but retailers are already getting way ahead of the game in preparation for what will be the biggest Nike, Inc. sneaker release of 2024. With full family sizes confirmed, the brand is relying on the Legend Blue 11s to be a smash hit during the holiday shopping season.

Although the shoes have been thoroughly previewed thus far, we now have images directly from certified Jordan Brand retailers. This set of images should give you the most accurate depiction of what to expect later this year. While the shoe-box packaging hasn’t been revealed just yet, you can expect the same black lid, grey box, and black tissue paper seen in other Air Jordan 11 releases that drop during the December Holiday shopping season.

A quick hit of history: the Air Jordan 11 “Legend Blue” was originally dubbed as the Air Jordan 11 “Columbia”. Michael Jordan’s only known instance of wearing these in an NBA came during the 1996 NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix. Due to the white/blue colorway, Jordan Brand never wore these as a member of the Chicago Bulls nor the Washington Wizards.

Nike, Inc. originally released the Air Jordan 11 “Columbia” during the AJXI’s original run in 1996; it released again as a Retro for the first time in 2001. Fast forward to 2014, Jordan Brand delivered them again as “Legend Blue”.
