The Samba is arguably one of the most iconic silhouettes from the adidas archive, which has become even more popular in recent years. In the mid-2000s adidas released a modified version of the classic, appropriately named the “Samba Millennium”. Adidas made slight adjustments to the upper for this version. For example the T-toe was slightly shortened and a logo embroidery is now emblazoned under the lacing. The lined tongue and heel also feature embroidered logos. However, the most striking and important change is probably the sole unit. For this, adidas uses a combination of EVA and rubber for the Millennium, and also installs the Torsion system.

The global brand from Herzogenaurach has thus existed for almost 70 years. The further development of its own product range and maximum performance have always been the designers' main driving force in their work. In the meantime, adidas can look back on a product history that is second to none.
