    Adidas celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! After the four turtles were given their own shell toe a few weeks ago, it's now Master Splinter's turn! Fittingly, the classic has been given an upper made of roughened suede that is reminiscent of Splinter's fur. The legendary Adidas brand slogan, which is normally written in French on the tongue of the shoe, is written in Japanese characters on this version in a nod to the roots of the Hamato clan. The classic “Superstar” lettering on the side has been replaced by “Splinter”. The tongue is also emblazoned with the well-known “SEEK VICTORY NOT FAIRNESS” quote. The special lace plaque is also based on the Sensei and three pairs of laces add variety to your look. The release is rounded off with special packaging reminiscent of action figure packaging and a reprint of the third issue of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, which was the inspiration for this drop.

    Since its founding in the 1950s, adidas has stood above all for quality and innovative product design.     The history of adidas began somewhat earlier and more contemplatively: with the brothers Adi and Rudolf Dassler, who fulfilled their dream of independence with the "Dassler Schuhfabrik". After they decided to go their separate ways following a successful collaboration, Adi Dassler founded the adidas company.

    The name adidas can be derived from the name of the founder. His brother, on the other hand, founded the brand  Puma, which today also enjoys a high profile.

    The global brand from Herzogenaurach has thus existed for almost 70 years. The further development of its own product range and maximum performance have always been the designers' main driving force in their work. In the meantime, adidas can look back on a product history that is second to none.
