After taking a tumble midway through the race on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, the Nike-sponsored star got back on his feet, thundered down the track and triumphed for Great Britain — completing the race in 27 minutes, 5 seconds.

The silver medal went to Kenya’s Paul Tanui, and Ethiopia’s Tamirat Tola took bronze.

Farah wore a customized version of Nike’s Air Zoom Pegasus running shoes, featuring pink and neon green colorways and racing spikes. He has a collection of running shoes with the sportswear brand that retails for $110 online.

Farah is Great Britain’s only athlete to hold three Olympic gold medals in track.
