It may be the off-season for NBA star Damian Lillard, but the basketball player and professional rapper is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Today, adidas dropped the NMD_R1 V2 Damian Lillard Shoes, a collaboration with Lillard that showcases his bold style on the beloved running-inspired sneaker. The release comes soon after Dame D.O.L.L.A. announced his new album.

Celebrating it’s five-year anniversary this year, it’s no surprise that Lillard would put his stylish twist on one of the best adidas shoes of all time, just like another musical artist and adidas collaborator, Pharrell Williams.

While the NMD_R1 V2 Damian Lillard features the comfortable Boost midsole consumers already know and love, the new release features unique touches that nod to Lillard’s rapping career. The tongue of the sneaker includes Lillard’s signature logo for Dame D.O.L.L.A., featuring a D with a money sign through it. The shoes also feature a black upper and laces with a pink sole and strap, along with a barcode on one side and the text “We just strivin’ for equality/ acknowledge me” on the other side of the sneaker. They are available in men’s and kid’s sizes, and retail for $150 and $120, respectively.

Lillard signed his current adidas contract in April 2014. According to insiders, the deal has the option to last up to 10 years and includes numerous performance-based bonuses, with a potential $100 million payout. The Olympic gold medalist signed a four-year contract extension with the Trailblazers this spring worth a total $191 million.
