Jaden Smith Shows Off His Dance Moves in LV Archlight 2.0 Sneakers for Louis Vuitton Campaign

FN Cover Star Jaden Smith brought smooth footwork while modeling the LV Archlight 2.0 collection in Louis Vuitton‘s latest footwear campaign.

A sculptured sneaker, that was originally designed by Nicolas Ghesquière for the house’s spring-summer 2018 runway show, has now proved an inspiration for Vuitton‘s next chapter, featuring a sporty take on the classic loafer, a spike of attitude with the signature monogram emblazoned on a platform combat boot and a towering sneaker with a unique tongue.

Vetted with Smith’s dance moves, the Archlight 2.0 Collection channels the pop culture era of the 2000s and the magnetism of the grunge aesthetic as noted by the brand’s website.

Smith wears an ornate halterneck blouse cuffed with a bow in the back, pants hemmed above the ankles and the Platform Loafer ($1520) to introduce the campaign’s swift visual.

The Platform Loafer, dubbed to be a part of “LV Mansion,” enhances its 2-inch sculpted rubber outsole with glossy calf leather for the frame. A velcro strap clad in leather brings femininity to the moccasin, with a print of Vuitton lettering atop the strap.

Smith follows up with a monochromatic outfit change featuring billowy capri shorts and the Platform Ankle Boot ($1,780). Its calf leather material takes a turn for the suede with a brown monogram-canvas trim along the collar and the collection’s signatory angled platform outsole.

Amongst the “LV Stage” sneaker range, there’s a reflection of the “gorpcore” trend with the Platform sneaker covered in neutral caramel and orange tones ($1780).

Starring alongside the ambassador is Louis Vuitton muse Chloe Grace Moretz and athlete Sam Li Sirong. Moretz has been a Louis Vuitton luminary since 2015 Smith signed on in 2016, offering a refreshing take on what’s classified as the norm by wearing a pleated skirt then.
