Charlotte Olympia Dellal Wins Accessory Designer of the Year At British Fashion Awards

Charlotte Olympia Dellal has been named Accessory Designer of the Year at the British Fashion awards held at the London Coliseum on Monday night. Dellal was nominated along with Tabitha Simmons and Sophia Webster.

The London native launched her eponymous line in 2008 and now designs four collections a year as well as a permanent collection of signature styles and a recently launched bespoke service.

The brand has retail locations in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Miami, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Dubai and more. Retailers such as Harrods, Bergdorf Goodman and On Pedder stock the designer’s creations.

Charlotte Olympia has had a busy year. The label debuted a Brompton Cross London store this summer, collaborated with Havaianas on flip-flops and launched a Kitty Unplugged flats collection—a rock ‘n’ roll spin on her beloved Kitty flats.

Last year, Anya Hindmarch took home the award, and Nicholas Kirkwood won in 2013. That same year, Sophia Webster was honored with the Emerging Accessory Designer award as her business was taking off.
