Katy Perry donned her summer best in barely there white Tom Ford Padlock stiletto sandals as the official honoree of the 2024 Colleagues Spring Luncheon and Oscar de la Renta Fashion Show on April 25.
The “Dark Horse” singer’s sandals featured a slightly pointed toe, a slim strap across the toes and a 4.7-inch tapered gold stiletto heel. A sleek gold lock and key dangled from the ankle strap of the designer shoe, which was made of Italian-made leather.
Based on her recent footwear choices, Perry is ready for summer. At the April 7 taping of “American Idol” in Hawaii, she wore three different pairs of fun, summery-heeled sandals: a clear open-toed stiletto with a rhinestone strap, yellow bamboo-heeled Leilei Stretch Sandals from her Katy Perry Collection, and asymmetrical white strappy stilettos.
The luncheon and fashion show is an annual fundraising event held by the non-profit The Colleagues, which supports Los Angeles’ most vulnerable children. The organization honored Perry for her work with The Firework Foundation, which she founded with her sister Angela Lerche to empower underserved children through the arts.
Perry got visibly emotional when she was presented with the Colleagues Champion of Children Award. She attended the event with her sister and with their Pentecostal pastor parents, Keith Hudson and Mary Perry.
