Kelsea Ballerini Goes Classic in Black Strappy Sandals for Variety & Golden Globes’ Venice Film Festival Party With Boyfriend Chase Strokes

Kelsea Ballerini and her beau hit the red carpet looking sharp.

The country music star and her boyfriend, actor Chase Strokes, attended Variety and Golden Globes’ party during the Venice Film Festival 2023 on Thursday. To the event, Ballerini donned black strappy sandals that featured a thin strap covering her toes and a heel that likely reached 4 inches in height.

The “Blindsided” singer paired her shoes with a black gown from Yves Saint Laurent. Her dress, styled by Molly Dickson, is from the YSL pre-fall 2023 collection and features a plunging neckline with a ruching gathering at the center. The floor-length dress flowed over her sandals, and she completed the look with a thin black scarf worn over her shoulders.

Ballerini added simple silver sparkly drop earrings and wore a few dainty rings to the party, and she carried a simple black clutch bag.

Strokes wore a black suit with a double-breasted jacket and a white button-down shirt. He added black loafers to the ensemble.

Ballerini’s statement-making style regularly includes brands like Giorgio Armani, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta and David Koma. When it comes to shoes, she’s been seen in luxury brands like Christian Louboutin and Saint Laurent. Of course, as a country singer, she also wears Western boots as well from the likes of Daniel Diamond. Recently, she performed on the “Today” show in a monochromatic look rounded out with blue strappy sandals.
