Lily James Elevates Emilia Wickstead Dress With Black Mary Janes for ‘Lyonesse’ Party

Lily James celebrated her new play with a sleek look.

The “Cinderella” star attended the press night party of the new play she is in, titled “Lyonesse.” For the party, James slipped into a pair of sharp Mary Jane pumps. Her heels were covered in black material and featured a sharp pointed toe as well as a strap across the top of the foot for extra support. The shoes were lifted with a thin heel that reached at least 4 inches.

The actress paired her shoes with a gray dress from Emilia Wickstead’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The wool-blend gown featured cutouts in the shoulders and a gathered bow in the center of the bodice, and the bottom hem reached right above her ankles. She accessorized with a few dainty pieces like small drop earrings as well as a thin ring.

Typically styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, James often opts for glamorous styles on and off the red carpet. The British star can be seen in jewel-toned and metallic sandals, slingback and platform pumps by Versace, Vivienne Westwood and Jimmy Choo on the red carpet. Off-duty, James’ footwear is similarly whimsical and chic, thanks to fluffy Ugg slides, Chantelle slippers and chunky New Balance sneakers. Aside from wearing stylish shoes, James has served as a fragrance ambassador for Burberry in recent years.
