If you are watching the current season of “American Idol,” you have probably seen Katy Perry wearing different pairs of cowboy boots during the auditions part of the show. It turns out Perry has a favorite footwear brand this season.
The singer wore two pairs of Coperni boots — the brand’s blue denim Bridge cowboy boots and black leather Bridge cowboy boots — while filming the show.
About the Shoes
Made in Spain, both pairs of the Coperni Bridge cowboy boots featured a leather footbed and lining, pointed toe and bridge-inspired arched sole. Additionally, each pair was elevated on an approximate 3.5-inch block heel covered in matching material.
Cowboy Boots: An Emerging Trend
As cowboy boots slowly emerge as this decade’s hottest footwear trend, several designer brands have released their own iterations of the classic silhouette in recent presentations. In January, Louis Vuitton’s men’s collection featured a colorful range of cowboy boots inspired by the work boots of the American West.

Styled by Tatiana Waterford, Perry is always bringing her A-game footwear style to her public appearances, whether on “Idol” or on red carpets.
Perry is often seen in footwear styles that use sky-high silhouettes, playful colorways and unique textural elements. Most recently, she was seen in a pair of towering Vivienne Westwood pumps at the Billboard Women in Music 2024 event. First seen on the designer’s fall 1993 runway, the shoes were elevated at an estimated 8.25 inches.

Katy Perry is also an entrepreneur in the footwear arena. She owns Katy Perry Collections, a company launched in 2017 that offers unique shoes with eye-catching and often campy designs.
