Nicole Richie has welcomed her sister Sofia Richie‘s wedding weekend on Friday in France in a distressed halter-neck number.
The sisters were photographed on nuptial grounds at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc while posing for their own set of soon-to-be memorial wedding festivity photos.
Richie wore an earthy-toned olive green dress with a halter-neck silhouette that looks to be patched with subtle ruffled layers along the inseam and tail of the dress as well.
A pleated skirt fell straight down the waist while the bodice hugged the torso. Though the reason behind her choice of color hasn’t been confirmed, the color green does symbolize peace, harmony, grounding and stability, as noted by a site that specializes in color psychology. Intentional or not, the hue was quite fitting to honor sister Sofia’s next chapter. Richie’s shoes were not visible under the hem, but it would be no surprise if she selected a walkable heeled sandal, fitting in with her bohemian-chic aesthetic.
The expected bride wore an all-white white gown. For an individualistic take, she incorporated white embellished fringe, a high neck and long sleeves with sheer detailing.
The sisters had a memorial yet sudden twin-style moment in March. For Chanel’s fall 2023 Paris Fashion Week show, they arrived in coordinating Chanel looks with all the tweed, sparkling mesh and pointy pumps you could want.
Nicole gave her take on sharp suiting an emphasis with a bright red lip. Atop her black and white jumpsuit, she added a long-sleeve Chanel coat that sat chicly on her shoulders. Her pointed pumps were monochromatic and a signature heel for the creative director of House of Harlow 1960. At the Stella McCarthy x Adidas party a month earlier, she coordinated a reminiscent pointy silhouette with a silver embellished minidress.
